For a small to medium sized recycler, here's a machine for notching whole pallets that cost a lot less.
Two men notch whole pallets with this machine one side at a time, then by flipping the pallet back to the first man they notch the other side. It will accept pallets with stringer lengths from 3' to 5' and can be adjusted for different distances from the end. This machine will also notch individual stringers as well.
