Standard-Duty Blockhead Band Resaw

Resaw.jpg

The Samuel Kent Baker Blockhead Band Resaw is named for its 6' wide, 3' tall head guard.

The Blockhead Band Resaw is a solidly-built resaw, constructed of heavy-wall tube steel.

With its cutting heads on top, you can order as many heads as you want on the same frame.

The auto-return system kicks off just behind the first head on the standard unit and comes back directly to the front operator.

The Blockhead Band Resaw comes standard with 28 inch all steel wheels mounted on a spindle with a sealed bearing. 32 inch wheels are available.

The Blockhead Band Resaw comes standard with a 6 inch wide conveyor belt, however, the opening in the head guard is 13" wide and 10" tall. This allows you to put a very large piece through this resaw. As an option, we offer a set of dead rollers placed directly under the blade to ensure that wider wood travels flat through the blade. We, of course, also offer a 12" wide conveyor for those of you who intend to run extra wide material most of the time.

The Blockhead Band Resaw comes standard with a 3/8" thick side rail.

To ensure proper blade tensioning throughout the cut, the Blockhead Band Resaw comes standard with four 1,000 lb. springs.

The standard machine comes with 1 large hold-down wheel in front of the blade. For extra support, a metal arm with a smaller wheel is positioned behind the blade.

A powered side feed system is available as an option. This system is all hydraulic with no chains or belts to contend with.

The Blockhead Band Resaw is designed to maximize blade life, cutting accuracy and cutting speed. The blade guides are a major factor in this.

With it's rigid slide system and fully adjustable wheels, our Tracking System is second to none. Just set it and forget it.

Everybody wants super tough, idiot-proof guides. We have them. Built like tanks, these guides can take a hit and keep on running. With few moving parts, there is little adjusting to do. With the exception of left-to-right, our hope is that you never need to adjust them.
